To help support the careers of event safety professionals, ESA is now offering subject matter expert instruction of the OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses!

There is no exam. This is a learning environment—not a testing environment. The goal is for you to leave with knowledge you can use on the job. Come ready to relax, absorb, and engage with us! The more you bring your real-world experience into the room, the richer the course becomes for everyone. We offer a special rate for our ESA members.

THE COURSES

OSHA 10-HOUR GENERAL INDUSTRY COURSE

This course will be your first step toward a safer workplace. Over two days, you’ll build a solid foundation in OSHA standards, workers’ rights, and hazard recognition. The topics include:

+ live event industry hazard landscape,
+ walking and working surfaces,
+ exit routes,
+ emergency action plans,
+ fire prevention & protection,
+ electrical,
+ personal protective equipment, and
+ hazard communication.

Registration for OSHA 10 is $300 for ESA members and $450 for non-members. The Courses available for registration will be regularly posted here:

OSHA 10: Wed Aug 26 & Thu Aug 27 (9:00am EDT – 3:15pm EDT)

REGISTER NOW FOR OSHA 10

NOTE: This is a two-day course from morning to mid-afternoon. There must be 30 individuals registered for this course to actualize. If we do not reach that level by Fri Aug 21 at noon EDT, registrants will be notified and offered a credit toward the next scheduled course or a registration refund.

OSHA 30-HOUR GENERAL INDUSTRY COURSE

This course gives supervisors, leads, and workers with safety a deeper, hands-on grounding in the hazards of live event and general industry work. The training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention rather than just a recitation of standards.The topics include:

+ managing safety & health,
+ crowd management & event emergency planning,
+ temporary structures,
+ stages & scaffolds, and
+ heat illness & outdoor environmental hazards.

Registration for OSHA 30 is $450 for ESA members and $600 for non-members. The OSHA 30 courses available for registration will be regularly posted here:
