ESA’s Weather Safety Training is designed by professional meteorologists for our event colleagues who work all types and sizes of events. From heat risk and poor air quality to wind storms, hail and lightning, this course will provide the participant with the tools necessary to create proactive weather plans and prepare for prompt decisions that protect artists, staff, stakeholders and patrons.
With weather volatility ramping up, historic floods, winds and heat waves seemingly more commonplace every year, this course will alleviate weather fears, dispel weather myths, and answer the question, "In the face of this weather forecast, how do we still conduct a fun and safe event?"

Instructor
Dr. Kevin Kloesel is a member of the Event Safety Alliance Board and is the Event Safety Meteorologist for Baylor University Athletics, the Big XII Conference, the Drum Corps International summer tour, and subject matter expert for the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security. Kevin has forecasted and provided weather planning and decision support for over 4000 events of all sizes and crowd demographics.
