August 17, 2015 (Scottsdale, AZ) – Event Safety Alliance is pleased to announce that Quebec-based theatrical company Cirque du Soleil has renewed their commitment as a platinum-level sponsor of the ESA. The world’s largest producer of theatrical events, Cirque du Soleil has sponsored the Event Safety Alliance since early 2014, and has been a vocal advocate for increased safety planning and training opportunities throughout the global events industry.

“We’re grateful for Cirque du Soleil’s continued belief in the ESA’s mission and their tireless support for improving safety awareness throughout the industry,” stated ESA Chairman of the Board Jim Digby. “Cirque’s commitment to safety within their organization serves as a model for others looking to improve their own culture, particularly those involved with high-risk productions. Their contribution to the ESA underscores their determination to raise the standard of safety across the industry, and we’re excited to continue working together to achieve that goal.”
