Just a Bunch of Roadies (http://justabunchofroadies.org) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to utilize the skills, assets, relationships, determination and compassion of those working in the touring music industry in order to execute humanitarian based projects domestically and internationally. Just a Bunch of Roadies responds to specific project-based needs in a collaborative and efficient manner with companies and individuals in the music industry and in tandem with other NPO/NGO’s in order to broaden their efforts and reach. Our objective is to inspire the new vanguard of young industry professionals to pick up the torch lit by those who paved the way for all of us.

As roadies, we travel the world moving giant cities, leaving nothing behind but a memory. Let’s instead leave a house, a clinic, a hospital, a laughing healthy baby that might grow up and change the world one day.

In the past year, with the generous help from all our companies, Just A Bunch of Roadies has continued with our mission to try to make a difference. Some of our recent projects include:

  • Creating several services projects in conjunction with events and touring personnel, such as we did with Eddie Kercher in Atlanta on his Incubus/ Deftones Tour in August. The roadies volunteered on their day off at The Atlanta Community Food Bank "Kids in Need Program", distributing school supplies to local teachers, and volunteered at Emmaus House Atlanta painting, constructing a food pantry.

  • Continuing our support of Loaves and Fishes (http://www.loavesandfishesmn.org/) , a nonprofit meal program in Minnesota serving hot meals to those in need. In 2015, we helped launch a mobile food truck that delivers meals to high risk people. Loaves & Fishes prides itself on its creative methods of healthy food acquisition and feeding communities across Minnesota.

  • Assisting Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy (http://pegasusridingacademy.org ) in the cleanup and repair of their stables and grounds in preparation of their opening day. Pegasus Therapeutic Riding is an independent, community-based provider of medically approved Equine Therapy serving children and adults of all ages with all type of disabilities at no cost to the client throughout the Coachella Valley.

  • Moving over 290,000 meals to Haiti to help with the recovery efforts after Hurricane Mathew.

Just a Bunch of Roadies recognizes there is as much to do at the end of our driveways as there is on the other side of the world. Beyond our own service projects, we encourage those working in our industry to get involved locally in their communities and help those in need in whatever way they can. There is no such thing as a small act of kindness.
