“The Pillars of Planning”

Safe events are built on a foundation of assessment, training, documentation, hazard control, and response-related activities. Understanding these tasks and how they complement each other is essential to developing a safety plan that is effective in protecting your guests, team, and infrastructure. The 2017 Event Safety Summit will examine these “Pillars of Planning” through a series of presentations, core concept workshops, case studies, and examination of “real life” event safety plans. A multidisciplinary group of subject matter experts will explore considerations, tools, and processes that support plan creation and execution, as well as current issues impacting safety at live events worldwide.

This year’s event will also feature several small group discussions geared towards specific areas of the live event industry, including corporate events, venues, festivals, and production. These sessions will address topics of particular relevance to individual industry segments and are intended to provide an opportunity for more focused and detailed discussion.

  • Register by July 31 – $925 Members/$1050 Non-Members
  • Register by September 30 – $1050 Members/$1250 Non-Members
  • Register after September 30 – $1250 Members/ $1500 Non-Members
